Fake book club.I have a church book club tonight and the required reading was "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe", by Fannie Flagg.
Didn't come close to finishing the book. Didn't even have the courtesy to cheat by watching the movie. But I can still go, right? If I bring a yummy treat?

What does one have to do in his own house to get some of that yummy treat (pumpkin cake). You know I love your treats right...I mean I ate a tone of your COOKIES the other night!
I think you need to test this "Treat Idea" out on other people first. I suggest that you send a sample to your husbands workplace and let his cubical buddies deicide.
oh there is no doubt, this cheescake is the BEST. i've made it a few years in the past. i will be making it this holiday season for sure and maybe jake will bring some leftovers to work.
