Totally-lucky for me everything else that came out got bad reviews on rotten tomatoes. He liked it though too.
Wait, how did I not hear about this!? I gave up this movie on Valentine's because it got such terrible reviews. One of my friends at work told me she wanted a REFUND after it because it was so bad! Now I'm truly intrigued. Did I make a big mistake by giving up seeing it on Valentine's? Is there any way I can get him to go NOW!?
compared to everything else out, it actually got good reviews! take it for what it is, i mean, is the chemistry between hugh and drew perfect? no. but the story is so interesting in itself, not to mention hugh grant as an 80-s pop singer is just awesome. and his partner in POP is the football player who got paralyzed in friday night lights (the TV series). just watching their music video in the beginning is so worth the $. to me at least. i can see how it wouldn't appeal to some people. but to me it was AWESome. you totally should have used your valentine's day freebie on this one.
